Happy Women’s Equality Day! 94 years ago, many women gained the right to vote.
Since 1920, we’ve come a long way – but there are still politicians, bosses, and judges who want to treat women like second-class citizens. This election season - women are watching - and using their 19th Amendment rights to elect women’s health champions in Massachusetts!
Your safety and your access to health care matter - no matter what.
That’s why we passed a new law this summer to enhance public safety measures outside of reproductive health centers in Massachusetts. Read more about what this new law does to keep Massachusetts women safe.
Joseph Gordon-Levitt explains why he is a feminist:
"What that means to me is that you don’t let your gender define who you are—you can be who you want to be, whether you’re a man, a woman, a boy, a girl, whatever. However you want to define yourself, you can do that and should be able to do that, and no category ever really describes a person because every person is unique. That, to me, is what “feminism” means. So yes, I’d absolutely call myself a feminist."
